味の台湾

台湾の詩人焦桐が十数年にわたり台湾じゅうを食べ歩き、庶民に人気の食べものを味わいつくした。場所によって変わるさまざまな味について書いた「味道福爾摩莎」から60篇を厳選して編纂された本。台湾の味覚を文学的にも味わえる。

Taiwanese poet Jiao Tung has spent more than ten years eating his way through Taiwan, sampling all the foods popular among the common people. This book is a compilation of 60 selected poems from "Weidao Formosa," a book about the various tastes that vary from place to place. It offers a literary taste of Taiwan's taste buds.
