「セクスプロイテーション映画」は、文字通りには「性的搾取映画」だが、これはもともと「エクスプロイテーション映画」という、興行成績をあげるため、センセーショナルな時事問題やタブーとされる題材をあえて取り上げている低俗な映画のことで、その性的な部分を扱ったものが「セクスプロイテーション映画」だ。

RE/Search誌は、サンフランシスコ発のパンクやサブカルチャーを扱った雑誌で、特異な特集を組んでいる。
