朝鮮王朝の絵画と日本

2008年に栃木県立美術館などで開催された「朝鮮王朝の絵画と日本」展で販売されたカタログ。
14世紀から19世紀の500年以上に渡った朝鮮王朝は、日本とは室町、江戸時代に文化交流をしていたことから、日本の画家も朝鮮半島からの影響を大きく受けた。
また副題に「宗達、大雅、若沖も学んだ隣国の美」が入っているように、俵屋宗達、池大雅、伊藤若冲、与謝蕪村などの日本の画家の作品が展示され、日本と朝鮮の文化の絆を見ることができる。

Catalog produced for the "Painting of the Joseon Dynasty and Japan" exhibition held at the Tochigi Prefectural Museum of Fine Arts and other museums in 2008.
The Joseon Dynasty, which spanned more than 500 years from the 14th to 19th centuries, had cultural exchanges with Japan during the Muromachi and Edo periods, and Japanese painters were greatly influenced by the Korean peninsula.
As the subtitle of the exhibition states, "The Beauty of Neighboring Countries Learned by Sotatsu, Taiga, and Wakaoki," works by Japanese painters such as Tawaraya Sotatsu, Ike Taiga, Ito Jakuchu, and Yosa Buson are on display, showing the cultural ties between Japan and Korea.
